Gloucester Old Boys Rugby Football Club. Both Tony and Terry Galvin played for the club in their younger days and continued to closely follow the clubs fortunes. For the 2017-18 season Galtec Limited is/was the main club sponsor providing training and playing kit for the club.
Following Terry’s sudden passing a charity rugby match was organised between a Galtec XV and a team from Gloucester Old Boys. Commemorative shirts were commissioned for the match and sold afterwards. The proceeds from the match and associated activities raised £ 800 for The British Heart Foundation.
Galtec Ltd sponsors the children’s Bouncy Castle at the local Witcombe village fete held each summer.
